What is Aussie Tiny Tales?

Aussie Tiny Tales is a toddler podcast with lots of fun audio stories, written, performed and produced by Jess Knaus.

Aimed at toddlers and children from ages 2 + this audio stories podcast features short creative stories based on some favourite Australian animals.

If you’re a parent looking for another way to encourage your toddlers language development this podcast might be perfect! It’s great whilst driving around or on road trips, and also when playing at home.

How did Aussie Tiny Tales come about?

After becoming a mum of 2 boys and realising just how much toddlers need in their days to keep learning, growing and particularly developing their language skills, I went on the hunt to find tools that could support our family. Podcasts are so popular now, but there are many US-based podcasts that don’t resonate with our culture or accent in Australia. So, I set out to make my own podcast for toddlers! I predominantly had my own kids in mind, but I knew many other kids would find the podcast entertaining and other families would benefit from having a podcast to listen to whilst driving or playing at home.

We already have so many toddler games, toddler books, toddler shows that our boys can watch, but toddler podcasts were something we’d never explored. I was surprised by how much our toddlers have loved it! Our boys will often listen whilst they play around the house or backyard, as a story before bed or when we’re driving around.
